So, band stuff has been going REALLY well. We've been practicing at my drummer's husband's rehearsal space the last couple times and it is SO NICE to finally sing through a PA that doesn't make me sound like I'm giving a sermon. (We used to practice in a church, lol. D: )

We've written two new songs together. One is a very laid-back Pixies-esque song, and the other is a high-energy punk song.

We're starting to look at gigging. We might try for venues outside of the city since SF venues get shit foot traffic. VooDoo Lounge and Blank Club in downtown San Jose are probably good options.

Also, we're going to change our band name. It's no big deal, I can make Myspace/Facebook/Twitter accounts for the new one with relatively little fuss. We're not set on anything just yet. I, personally, would love to be The Ruths, but the SL reference would be lost on the rest of my bandmates. It's gotta be something that means something to all of us. I also kinda wanted to be The Boy/Girl Party but the lady at boygirlparty.com basically said I can't. So we will be brainstorming some more.
